Otis B. Hayes, 70, of Sapulpa died Saturday at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 am Saturday at the Church of God in Christ with L. V. Broom officiating.

Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Jack's Memory Chapel.

He was born Feb 5, 1923, in Boley. Hayes worked for the City of Sapulpa in the Water Department. He served during World War II in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Church of God in Christ, Fidelity Masonic Lodge #136 and American Legion #262.

His wife, Estella, preceded him in death in 1988.

Survivors include his mother, Narcissus Wilkes of Anaheim, Calif.; daughter, Arvella Johnson of Sapulpa; brother, Jim Hayes of Fresno, Calif.; and five grandchildren.

Hayes, of Sapulpa and a former employee of the City of Sapulpa's Water Department, died April 10.
