Kermit Harris, 47, of Okmulgee, died Monday in Muskogee.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at Twin Hills School Gymnasium.

Burial will follow at Bald Hill Cemetery at Bald Hill under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

He was born Feb. 8, 1946, in Okmulgee. A lifelong Okmulgee area resident, Harris owned and operated Sky-Tech Satellites. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He married Sharon Helton on June 27, 1969, in Okmulgee.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon; sons, Kermit Jr., of Muskogee, Emmanuel of Okmulgee; daughters, Kermetta of the home and Melvonna Crook of Dallas, Texas; brothers, Leon Harris of Tulsa, Raymond Harris of Okmulgee, Stephen Harris of Kansas City, Mo.; sisters, Thelma Draper of Tulsa and Doris Hawkins of Tulsa and two grandchildren.

Funeral services for Kermit Harris were held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Twin Hill School Gymnasium with Rev. Grady Asberry officiating.

Burial followed at Bald Hill Cemetery, in Bald Hill, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Serving as casket bearers were Paul Hopkins, Maurice Corbbrey, Joe Paul Corbbrey, Mike Harris, Dino Harris, Derrick Harris, Gladine Anderson, Everett Hawkins, Wayne Hawkins, David McGill, Lester Franklin, Jr., and Mark Lockett.

Honorary casket bearers were Lester Franklin, Jr., Deon Franklin, Mikel Corbbrey, Jami Corbbrey, Doni Corbbrey, Juan Hawkins, Xavier Hopkins, Brandon Lovett and Calvin Harris.
