Mounds - Lou Anice Harper, 87, of Mounds, died Tuesday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Smith Funeral Chapel.

Burial will follow at South Heights Cemetery.

She was born Nov. 16, 1903, in Sapulpa, and lived in this area all her life. She was a former Captain in the Salvation Army and attended the First Church of God.

Survivors include husband, Luther; children Georgia Simpson of Twenty-nine Palms, Calif., Sherman Smith of Yuma, Ariz., Verla Evans and Terry Harper, both of Riverbank, Calif., Iona Vaughn of Sapulpa, Marlin Harper of Disney, Connie Harper of Mounds and Larry Harper of Kellyville; sisters Cynthia Freeman of Texas, Georgia Schlosser of Grove City, Pa., Esther Alexander of Sapulpa and Mary Snyder of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
