Herman H. (Dick) Haney, 82, of Sapulpa, died Thursday at his home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. . Friday at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gerald Byrd officiating.

Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Haney was born Dec. 10, 1908, in Nebo, Mo., and was a Sapulpa resident most of his life. He was a retired welder and a member of the First Assembly of God.

He was preceded in death by his wife Thelma in Dec. of 1984.

Survivors include son Richard Haney of Sand Springs; daughter Elizabeth Ray of Terlton; brother Omer Haney of Winter Haven, Ariz.; one grandchild; and four great-grandchildren.

Burial followed at Green Hills Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Haney, a lifelong Sapulpa resident, died Thursday at his home following an extended illness.
