Charles Cecil Hamilton, 75, of Sapulpa, died Thursday at his home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 am Monday at First Presbyterian Church with Revs. John Nelsen and Daniel Keohane officiating.

Burial will follow at Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Schumacher Funeral Home.

Mr. Hamilton was born Aug. 27, 1916, in Stroud. He owned and operated Wickham Packing Company after moving to Sapulpa from Bristow during the late 1930s. The plant operated until 1985.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, past board member of American National Bank and Trust Company, longtime member of the Sapulpa Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Bristow and Sapulpa Elks Lodges. He married Mary Doodle Bolin in Bristow on Oct. 27, 1972.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; son Charles Roy Hamilton of Sapulpa; stepsons Mike Merski of Bristow and Mark Merski of Miami; daughter Marilyn Hamilton Binion of Sapulpa; stepdaughters Majel Langston of Miami, Marcia McPhail of Bakersfield, Calif., Michelle McKay of Norman and Melissa Merski of Edmond; four grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren.

Visitors will be received Sunday and Monday morning at Smith Funeral Home.
