GRIGSBY, Denver C., Jr.
Mr. Denver C. Grigsby Jr., 60, of 223 N. Linden, died Thursday at his home.
Services were Saturday at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ray Hawkins officiating.
Burial was in South Heights Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bill Seay, Bill Wilson, Bob Miller, Arthur Pool, Dr. Tom Luker, Bob Riederer, Dick Hermes, Henry Vincent and Pete Annex.
Mr. Grigsby was born Dec 5, 1928, in Sapulpa and lived here all his life. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was an outstanding football player at Sapulpa High School and the University of Tulsa. He also played professional football with the Los Angeles Rams. He was a member of First Christian Church and was employed as a security guard at the Tulsa Zoo.
Survivors include son Mike B. of Amarillo, Texas; daughter Peggy E. Doss of Fort Worth, Texas, and two granddaughters.
