Leonard B. Garner, 69, of 824 S. Watchorn died Friday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Services are scheduled for 2 pm Monday at Owen Funeral Chapel.

Burial will be at South Heights Cemetery.

Mr. Garner was born Feb 25, 1921, in Pitcher. He moved to Sapulpa from Pitcher 40 years ago.

He was a retired insurance agent for National Life and Accident Co. He was a Baptist, a member of the Sapulpa Veteran of Foreign Wars, the Sapulpa Police Auxiliary and the Creek County Draft Board.

Mr. Garner also was a Prisoner of War in Germany during World War II.

Survivors include wife Dorothy; daughters Inez Haubert of Sapulpa and Tricia Pieratt of Bristow; sister Inez Wells of Hominy; one grandchild.

The family will headquarter at 824 S. Watchorn.

Funeral services for Leonard B. Garner were held Monday at Owen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Junior Gaines officiating.

Burial was at South Heights Cemetery.

Casketbearers were Otto Harkins, Bob Turney, Leonard Teeters, Chuck Lake, Verl Cochran, and Newt Mann.

Honorary bearers were Ted Williams and Kenny LeFavor.

Mr. Garner, a longtime insurance agent in Sapulpa, died Friday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.
