Mr. Duffie L. Freeman, 88, 710 S. Mounds, died Wednesday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center after a brief illness.

Services are scheduled for 2 pm Friday at Owen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. T. Howard Allen officiating.

Burial will be in South Heights Cemetery.

Mr. Freeman was born Jan 4, 1901, in Bristow and he moved to Sapulpa from Bristow 68 years ago.

He was a member of Church of God and was a Past Master of the Konawa Masonic Lodge. Mr. Freeman was a pumper for Forrest Oil Co., until his retirement in 1964.

Survivors include wife Cynthia; son Mack of Gainsville, Texas; brothers Frank and Tom, both of Sapulpa; four step-grandchildren; and five step great-grandchildren.
