FARMER

BRISTOW — Mr. George Elmer Farmer, 60, Bristow, died Saturday at Hillcrest Medial Center, Tulsa.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sunrise Baptist Church near Kellyville. With the Rev. Bob Pendergrass officiating.

Burial will be a Magnolia Memorial Garden, Bristow, with full military rites provided by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3656. Burial will be under the direction of Hutchins-Maples funeral Home, Bristow.

Mr. Farmer was born Sep 29, 1926, at Wagoner, Okla. He moved to Bristow 14 years ago from Santa Maria, Calif.

He was employed as a warehouse foreman with Unit Rig and Equipment of Tulsa. He was a member of the Sunrise Baptist Church and the Bristow post of the VFW.

Mr. Farmer was a World War II Army Veteran.

Survivors include wife Mildred; mother Rosa of Bristow; sons Wade Campbell of Lemoore, Calif., Gary of Santa Maria and Steven of Burleson, Texas; daughters Phyllis Reader of Sapulpa and Patti Robinson of Bristow; brothers Johnny of Okmulgee and Leonard of Bristow; sisters Ethel Neal of Tulsa, Betty Keeling and Minnie Carr both of Kiefer, Roberta Phillips of Shamrock, Peggy Miller of Depew, and Mary Armer of Phillips, Texas; and 11 grandchildren.
