Howard Lincoln Exendine, 65, died Thursday at his home in Liberty Mounds.

Services have been scheduled for 3 pm Saturday at the Bixby Free Will Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Steve Turner.

Exendine was a long-time resident of the area and worked as a general construction contractor. He also was employed by McDonnell-Douglas and Chamber's Mill in Mounds.

He was a member of the Bixby Free Will Baptist Church and was a one time deacon of the Duck Creek Free Will Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Wanda Faye.

Other survivors include daughter Joan Beck, Liberty Mounds; son Harold Ray, Tulsa; one brother, John Exendine, Bixby; one sister Juanita Roberts, Torrance, Calif.

Survivors also include five grandchildren and two step-brothers, Clarence Stout, Woodbine, Md., and Shailor Koleff, Lancing, Ill.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Kathleen Dickey, a sister Thelma Sharp, and two brothers Melvin and Arnold Extendine.

Casketbearers include Johnny Bittle, Herschel Edwards, Ray Tate, Brent Marshall, Robert Malone and Hubert Willis. Honorary casket bearers are Elmer Garrison, Dale Evans, Willie Nichols, Ralph Roberts and Eric Marshall.

Leonard Funeral Home, Bixby, is in charge of arrangements. The family requests that memorials be made to the Bixby Free Will Baptist Church Bus Fund.
