Sapulpa, Creek County, Oklahoma
Mrs. Bennie (Mary Jo) Durant, 47, Broken Arrow, died today at St. Francis
Hospital, Tulsa.
Services will be 11:30 am Monday at smith funeral chapel with the Rev. Bailey
Thompson officiating.
Burial will be at Tanneyhill Cemetery, McAlester.
Casket bearers will be James Ware, Jim Ward, Elmer Durant, Leon Duncan, Pillip
Boatner and Steve Boatner.
She was born Sep 27, 1939, in Sapulpa and was a graduate of Sapulpa High School.
She married July 5, 1961, in Sapulpa.
Mrs. Durant lived in Broken Arrow 11 years and was formerly with the Broken
Arrow School District.
Survivors include husband Bennie; parents Mr. and Mrs. Hardy White of Sapulpa;
sons Allan and Dwight, both of Broken Arrow; and daughter Diana Durant of Tulsa.
The family will headquartered the day of the service at the hardy residence,
2024 s. Bixby.
