Thomas D. Doss, 57, of Sand Springs died on September 20, 1998 at his home.  He was born on August 21, 1941 in Berryville, Arkansas, the son of Theodore and Alice (Smith) Doss.  He married Shirley Baker on August 24, 1984.  He was a Rehabilitation Counselor for the Blind for Department of Human Services.  

He is survived by his wife, Shirley, of the home; his mother, Alice Doss of Sand Springs; daughter, Shirley Barton of Sapulpa; sons, David Doss of Tulsa and Duane Doss of Muskogee; step-sons, Thomas Wilson, William Wilson, and Vernon Wilson; sisters, Rosielee Inman of Berryville, Arkansas, Rita Massey of Sand Springs, and Mary Shockley of Bristow; brothers, Carl Doss and Ronnie Doss, both of Sand Springs, Sammy Doss of Bristow, and Richard Doss of Lake Charles, Louisiana; and ten grandchildren.  

He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Evelyn Thompson; and a brother, John Doss.  Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Woodland Memorial Park.  Interment will follow under the direction of Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service.
