RALPH DIXON

BRISTOW — Ralph Ernest Dixon, 83, Bristow, died Wednesday at Saint Francis Hospital, Tulsa.

Services were Saturday at Schumacher Funeral Home, Bristow, with the Rev. Roy Bingham officiating.

Burial was at Magnolia Memorial Gardens, Bristow.

Mr. Dixon was born Feb 3, 1906, in Webb City, Mo., and lived in the Bristow area most of his life. He was a retired farmer and member of Liberty Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include wife Naomi; sons Donnie Thompson of Borger, Texas, Richard Staples of Tuscahoma, Frank Staples of San Francisco, and Bobby Thompson and Bill Staples, both of Tulsa; daughters Wilma Postoak and Joyce Gibson, both of Tulsa; brothers Harold (Hap) Farmer of Bristow and Delmer Farmer of Reno, Nev.; sisters Opal Hooper of Abilene, Texas, and Mary Wardlow of Fort Worth, Texas; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
