Mr. Roy A. Dickens, 85, Sapulpa, died Friday at Hillcrest Medical Center, Tulsa.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Monday at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Russell Casey officiating.

Burial will be at South Heights Cemetery in Sapulpa.

Mr. Dickens was born Nov 7, 1902, in Lebanon, MO, He was a Sapulpa area resident most of his life and worked for Pure Oil Co. 41 years before he retired. Mr. dickens was also a member of the first Christian Church.

Survivors include; his wife of 63 years, Melba of the home; sons Donald Lee of Weatherford, Texas, and Darrell Ray of Huntington, Texas; daughter, Mrs. Archie (Margie) Sechrest of Sapulpa; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

In lieu of other remembrances, the family suggest donation to the First Christian Church Building fund.

The family will headquarter at the Sechrest residence, 1500 S. Main.
