SALLY DENNISON
Sally Elizabeth Rolland Dennison, 48, Route 1, died Saturday at Saint Francis
Hospital in Tulsa.
The body will be taken to the family home at 6 pm Monday for services on
Tuesday. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 pm Tuesday at the Watashe
Cemetery with the Rev. Johnny George officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
She was born July 30, 1942, in Claremore, and married David Lewis Dennison Nov
9, 1963, in Sapulpa.
A lifelong area resident, Mrs. Dennison was a member of the Native American
Church, Yuchi chapter; and Yuchi Polecat Tribal Town Square Ground; the
Kellyville Indian Community; and a volunteer aide of the Creek Nation Head Start
of Sapulpa.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Amos Rolland.
Survivors include husband, David; son David Lewis Dennison Jr., of Sapulpa;
daughters Denis Dennison, Tina Dennison and Jessica Dennison, all of Sapulpa,
Dawn Lena of Seminole; brothers Albert Rolland Jr. and Robert Rolland, both of
Sapulpa and James Rolland of Kellyville; sisters Margaret Longhorn of Sapulpa
and Carolyn Turk of Santa Anna, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services for Sally Elizabeth Rolland Dennison were held today at the
Watashe Family Cemetery with the Rev. Johnny George officiating.
Burial followed under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dennison, a lifelong resident of this area, died Saturday at Saint Francis
Hospital.
