JOHNNY DEMRY SR.

BEGGS — Johnny H. Demry Sr., 77, Beggs, died Tuesday at St. John Medical Center, Tulsa.

Services will be 11 am Monday at Calvary Baptist Church, Sapulpa, with the Rev. A. B. Thomas officiating.

Burial will be at Northwest Cemetery, Okmulgee, under the direction of Spivey funeral Home. Beggs.

Casket bearers are Artez Tiger, Ray Demry, Deron Thompson, Roland Powell, Bruce Powell, Emery Tottress and Everett Tottress.

He was born Nov 8, 1911, in Louisiana, and had lived in the Beggs area most of his life. Mr. Demry was a retired farmer.

Survivors include wife Annie of Sapulpa; sons Johnny Demry Jr. of Beggs, Anthony Cooks of Las Vegas, Nev., and Jimmy Ray Mitchell of Oregon; sisters La Vern Tottress and Wilma Jean Williams, both of Tulsa, and Ann Grimmett of Sapulpa; brothers Jasper Demry Jr., of California and Billy Joe Demry of Beggs; sisters Ella Mae Manor and Elizabeth Brooks, both of Tulsa, Reba Chatman of Beggs and Betty Williams of Oklahoma City; 22 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.
