DAVID DEATHERAGE

TULSA — David E. Deatherage, 49, Tulsa, died Sunday of cancer in Tulsa.

Services were today at Madalene Catholic Church, Tulsa, with the Rev. Daniel Perlinski officiating.

Cremation was under the direction of Stanley’s Funeral Home, Tulsa.

Mr. Deatherage was born in McAlester on June 22, 1940. He graduated from Sapulpa High School and the University of Oklahoma. He received his law degree from the University of Oklahoma Law School in 1965.

He was a practicing attorney at his own firm in Tulsa, David E. Deatherage and Associates, and a former partner in Huchinson, Deatherage and Associates.

Mr. Deatherage was a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Tulsa County Bar Association and American Trial Lawyers Association. He also belonged to Pi Kappa Alpha and Phi alpha Delta Law Fraternity.

He attended Madalene Catholic Church of Tulsa.

Survivors include his wife Gail; daughters Lisa Deatherage of Dallas and Laura Deatherage of Sherman, Texas; and sister Carole F. Deatherage of Tulsa.
