McCurtain — Former Sapulpan Loyd T. Davis, 70, of McCurtain, died Sunday in
Stigler.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Wednesday at the McCurtain Freewill
Baptist Church with the Rev. Leonard Karch and N. K. Williams officiating.
Burial will follow at Miners Cemetery, McCurtain, under the direction of Mallory
Funeral Home. Stigler.
Casketbearers will be Mike Davis, Chris Maroutsos, Jimmie Maroutsos, Jay McAulay,
Phil ford, Danny Cox and Lynn McCafferty.
He was born June 2, 1921, in McCurtain, and was a Sapulpa resident until 1 ½
years ago when he moved back to McCurtain. He was a rural mail carrier and a
member of the Chche Lodge 26 in McCurtain, the Keota Lodge and a charter member
of the Tulsa Consistory.
Survivors include daughters Georgeanne Chick of Houston and Glenda Mostyn of
Texas; son Greg Davis of Stockbridge, Ga.; stepson Jay McAulay of Sapulpa;
sisters Oleta Corley of Big Cabin and Helen Peek of Tulsa; and brother Robert H.
Davis of Sapulpa.
