Howard L. Davis, 81, died Saturday in Bartlesville.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of Christ in Cleveland, OK with Norman Easter officiating.

Burial is scheduled to follow at the Woodland Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home.

Davis was born April 18, 1912 in Clever, MO, to Fred and Daisy Dean Davis. He moved to Oklahoma at an early age and was a 1931 graduate of Mounds High School. He married Luella Buck April 26, 1934. He was employed with Kantor Oil Company as superintendent from 1941 until his retirement in 1975. They made their home in the Oilton and Mannford area for many years. They moved to Bartlesville in 1988.

He was preceded in death by both parents, one brother Jim Davis and one grandson Bryan Davis.

Survivors include wife Luella of the home, sons Richard Davis of Bartlesville, Ron Davis of Sapulpa; daughters-in-law Carol of Sapulpa and Sue of Bartlesville; sisters Louise Shibley, Fern Tucker and Jean Tindell, all of Sapulpa; brothers Leonard Davis of Sapulpa and Joe Davis of Merridian, MS; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren..
