John Lester Crow IV, son of the Second Chief of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, died Saturday, April 22, 1995 in an automobile-pedestrian accident.

A wake service will be 7 p.m. today at Heath-Griffith Funeral Home, Tulsa. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Berryhill High School Gymnasium. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa.

He was born March 29, 1978 to John and Shelly Crow, Tulsa.

He was an honor student at Berryhill High School, played nose guard and wrestled at 172 pounds for the Berryhill High School state championship wrestling team. In December, he went to Washington, D.C. for the National Young Leaders Conference as one of four Oklahoma students.

He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Everett Stubbs and Jim Vincent. He is survived by his parents, a sister, Leslie Crow Akin; grandparents, John and Ida Crow and a grandmother, Dorothea Vincent.

A scholarship fund has been established in his memory at the First National Bank of Henryetta.
