GENEVA CHURCHILL

Former area resident Geneva (McCracken) Churchill, 65, of Huntington Beach, Calif., died Sunday in Huntington Beach.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2 pm Monday at Owen Funeral Chapel with Don W. Churchill officiating.

Burial will follow at South Heights Cemetery.

She was born June 4, 1926, in Mannford, and attended school in Mannford and Cushing.

She married Duane W. Churchill April 26, 1947, in Dubuque, Iowa. She was a waitress and hostess until her marriage.

Survivors include husband, Duane, of North Pole, Ala.; son Don W. Churchill of North Pole, Ala.; daughters Renee Carnival of Huntington Beach, Kim Sanger of Anchorage, Alaska, and Betty Jo Ortega of LaMiranda, Calif.; brothers Grover McCracken and Leslie McCracken, both of Cushing, Ellis McCracken of Los Animas, Colo., and Laurel McCracken of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

The family will gather at the funeral home the day of the service.
