Ellis Preston Carmichael, Sr., born October 21, 1920 in Oilton, Oklahoma passed away at his residence Thursday, November 4, 1999 at the age of 79. 

He was a 50 year resident of Corpus Christi. 

Ellis is survived by his two sons Ellis Carmichael, Jr. and wife Linda and Tom Carmichael and wife Marsha; four grandsons, Scott, Trey, Matthew, and Lance. 

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm, Sunday, November 7, 1999 at Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Home. 

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 am, Monday, November 8, 1999 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment to follow at Seaside Cemetery.
