Neal Carley, 72, 2719 Hillcrest, died Tuesday , Dec 11, at Hadley Regional Medical Center.

He was born July 25, 1918, in Drumright, Okla., to Otis and Edna (Stroud) Carley. He married Julia Linenberger Oct 31, 1942, in Hays. He was a former owner of Fort Hays Lincoln-Mercury. He was a Methodist and a member of Masonic Lodge, Hays, Isis Shrine, Salina, and Eagles Lodge, Hays.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; a brother, D. C. Carley, Temple, Texas; and two sisters, Alice Neff, Texarkana, Texas, and Norene Davis, Hays. He was preceded in death by a brother, Omar.

Services are scheduled for 2:30 pm Friday at Hays Memorial Chapel, 20th and Pine, with the Rev. Bill Miller officiating; Masonic graveside services will follow in Mount Allen Cemetery. Visiting hours are from 2 to 4 pm and from 6 to 8 pm Thursday at the mortuary. The family suggests memorials to the pulmonary department at Hadley Regional Medical Center.


A Daughters of Isabella rosary will said at 7:30 tonight at Hays Memorial Chapel, 20th and Pine, for Neal Carley.

Carley, 72, 2719 Hillcrest, died Tuesday, Dec 11. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 pm Friday at the mortuary.
