Raymond A. Burden, 70, 11525 S. Delaware, Tulsa, died Tuesday at his home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 am, Friday, at Smith Funeral Chapel.

He was born April 20, 1922, in Avery. He lived since 1950 in Tulsa, moving from Sapulpa. He attended Sapulpa High School, was a member of the Masonic Delta Lodge, Scottish Rites and had served in the Seabees during World War II. He was formerly employed as a welder with the Powers Foundation Drilling Company. He married Thelma Campbell on Dec. 15, 1950.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma; and one sister, Dorothy Willibey of Tulsa.

Funeral services for Raymond A. Burden were held this morning at Smith Funeral Chapel with Rev. Loyd Robertson officiating.

Burial followed at New Zion Cemetery, near Davenport, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Serving as casket bearers were Ron Burden, Rick Burden, George Burden, Dick Willibey, Mix Six, Tracy Holbrook, Tony Holbrook, Terry Holbrook, and Doug Willibey.

Honorary bearers were Jack Coxen, Dempsey Powers, Carl Sheets and Dong Craig.

Mr. Burden died Tuesday at his home in Tulsa.
