BUCHANAN
Mrs. Evelyn Buchanan, 311 N. sixth St., 77, died Thursday at Doctor’s
Hospital, Tulsa.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Faith Holiness Church with the Rev. Del
Hunnicutt officiating.
Burial will be in Green Hills Memorial
Gardens under the direction of Smith funeral Home.
Born Dec. 24, 1911, in Marta Okla., and married Wesley Buchanan on Aug. 6, 1926,
in Wewoka, Okla. She moved to Sapulpa in 1952 and was a member of Faith Holiness
Church. She was preceded in death by her husband
in 1987.
Survivors include sons Charles of Sapulpa and Arthur and Jim, both of Mannford;
daughters Billie Jean Murray of Sand Springs, Joyce Smith of Sapulpa; 23
grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and on great-great-grandchild.
The family will headquarter at 24 W. Ross.
