HELEN BRYANT

Services were today for Helen Bryant at Bethany Holiness Church with the Rev, Dewayne Mitchell officiating, assisted by the Rev. Tommy Toliver.

Burial followed at South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service.

Casketbearers were Bud Blevins, Dick Steel, Roger Wilson, Greg Beshear, Carol Beshear and Art Keener.

Mrs. Bryant 69, died Sunday at her residence in Haywood.

She was born April 12, 1921, in Bogata, Texas. She married her husband, Johnny, Sept 24, 1939, in Bogata, and lived there until moving to Tulsa area in 1944.’

She moved to Haywood in 1980 and was employed for nine years as a seamstress in McAlester. She was a very active member of the Blue Holiness Church and they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last year.

She was preceded in death by sons Jerry A. and Darel Bryant and daughters Rita and Alice Bryant.

Survivors include husband Johnny; sons Larry Bryant of Amarillo, Victor Bryant of Sallisaw and R. B. Bryant of McAlester; sister Valarie Anderson of Tulsa; and six grandchildren.
