GEORGE BRIDGEMAN
George K. Bridgeman, 71, 401 Fairlane Court, died today at his home following an
extended illness.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Owen funeral chapel. Burial will be at Green
Hills Memorial Gardens.
He was born March 19, 1918, in Vinita, and moved from Tulsa to Sapulpa in 1974.
Mr. Bridgeman was a member of the Tulsa Masonic Lodge and was a 32 degree Mason.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He retired in 1980 from the Iron Workers Local Union 584 after 40 years of
service.
Mr. Bridgeman married Marietta Hubbard on Nov. 22, 1974, in Sapulpa.
He was a member of the Lee and Walnut church of Christ.
Survivors include wife Marietta; sons Jack and Mike Bridgeman, both of Sperry,
Bob Bridgeman of Kiefer, Gerald and Dusty Bridgeman, both of Drumright, and Mark
and Steve McMunn, both of Sapulpa; daughter Linda Meakes of Lubbock, Texas;
sister Marie Bridgeman of Oklahoma City; 20 grandchildren.
The Casket will not be opened at anytime. The family will headquarter at the
home of 401 Fairlane Court.
