Robert Herald Brice, 80, of Chelsea, died Thursday at Claremore Regional Medical Center.

Memorial services are scheduled for 2 pm Monday at South Heights Cemetery Chapel.

Cremation was under the direction of Seaman-Blanke Funeral Service of Chelsea.

Brice was born April 14, 1913, in Paris, Ark., to Franklin and Georgana Brice. He married Ruby Melton in Sapulpa on Aug 9, 1969. A self-employed oil driller, Brice was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and South Heights Baptist Church. He moved to the Chelsea area in 1991 from Las Vegas, Nev., where Brice worked for the Lady Luck Casino before he retired.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby; step-sons, Richard Watson of Tulsa and Don Watson of Chelsea; step-daughters, Janet Tucker of Las Vegas, Nev., and Janice Watson of Sand Springs; sisters, Bertie Gremore of Las Vegas, Nev., Joyce Perry of McCamie, Texas, and Velma Berry of Destin, Fla.; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
