BOSTICK, Okley Whitehouse

Okley Whitehouse Bostick, 81, 813 S. Poplar, died Thursday, Feb. 16, 1995 at her home.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday in the Pentecostal Free Holiness Church in Kellyville with the Revs. David Taylor, Ronnie Thompson and Roy Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery, Coweta, directed by Smith Funeral Home.

She was born Aug. 22, 1913 in Braggs.

She married Millard Whitehouse in 1928. He preceded her in death in 1958. She married Walter Bostick in 1960, and he preceded her in death in 1985.

Survivors include a son, Kelley Whitehouse, Sapulpa; two stepdaughters, Viola Shelton and Faye Hellard, both of Kellyville; a sister, Ora Gallagher, Tulsa; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Casket bearers will be her nephews.

Okley Whitehouse Bostick, mother and homemaker, was devoted to God, husbands, children and grandchildren. She was born August 22, 1918 in Braggs, Oklahoma and died Thursday, February 16, 1995 at home at the age of 81. She had lived in the Sapulpa-Kellyville area for 50 years. She was married to Millard Whitehouse in 1928; he preceded her in death in 1958. In 1960 she married Walter Bostick and he preceded her in death in 1985. She was a member of the Kellyville Free Holiness Church.

Ms Bostick is survived by her son, Kelley Whitehouse, of Sapulpa; step-daughters, Viola Shelton and Faye Hellard, both of Kellyville; sister, Ora Gallagher of Tulsa, 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday in the Kellyville Free Holiness Church with the Reverends David Taylor, Ronnie Thompson and Roy Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Vernon Cemetery, Coweta, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
