IIAN LEE BOSS

Iian Lee Boss, 76, died September 4, 1992 at Tulsa, OK.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home Chapel, with the Reverend Scott Miller officiating.

Burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Sapulpa, under the directions of Owen Funeral Home.

He was born February 5, 1916 in Jenks, Oklahoma to Sydney Grant boss and Cora Helen (Redick) Boss. He and Ione Teague were married August 6, 1940 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. Boss served in the O.S. Navy, South Pacific Theater, from August 1943 to December 1945. He was a member of the American Legion in Sapulpa and past member of the Lion’s Club in Sapulpa. Prior to retiring, Mr. Boss was self-employed at the Texaco Service Station on Dewey Street in Sapulpa.

Survivors include: wife Ione Boss of the home, daughters: Barbara Burnett, Broken Arrow and Brenda Molloy, Plano, Tx.

Grandchildren Mick Burnett, Shelley Overack, Roger Burnett, Jennifer Burnett, Andrea Molloy, Kristen Mollow and Great-grandchild: Ryan Overack.

Family will headquarter at 71 West Mockingbird, Sapulpa.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Tuesday at Owen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Scott Miller officiating.

Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

He was born February 5, 1916, in Jenks, to Sydney Grant Boss and Dora Hellen (Redick) Boss. He and Ione Teague were married August 6, 1940, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mr. Boss served in the U.S. Navy from August 1943 to December 1945. He was a member of the American Legion in Sapulpa and a past member of the Lion’s Club in Sapulpa. Prior to retiring, Mr. Boss was self-employed at the Texaco Service Station on Dewey Street.

Survivors include his wife, Ione; daughters, Barbara Burnett of Broken Arrow and Brenda Molly of Plano, TX.
