Mr. John M. Bosen, 72, Route 3, died Sunday at Hillcrest Medical Center, Tulsa.

Private family graveside services were today at Cussethah Cemetery with the Rev. Jonas Partridge officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

He was born April 10, 1916, in Pumpkin Center. He was a veteran of U.S. Army serving in World War II.

Mr. Bosen was a lifelong Sapulpa resident. He was employed at Bartlett Collins Glass Co. for 30 years and was a member of Little Cussetah Baptist Church.

Survivors include children Peggy Lewis, Sammy, Clifford, Jerry, John D. and Dan, all of the home; sister Dorothy Jones of Sapulpa; brothers Lauren and Elmer Pierce, both of Sapulpa, and Melvin Pierce of Brighton Colo.

John Milton Bosen was never married, he had no children. The family listed it the information this way because he lived with those kids, his nieces and nephews, his whole life. (except when he was in the war). His "children" were his nieces and nephews.
