Danny Haskell (Dan) Black, 65, of Mannford, died Tuesday at home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 am Thursday in the First Baptist Church, Sapulpa, with the Rev. T. Howard Allen officiating.

Burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

Casketbearers will be Tony Baldwin, Ted Soliday, Jim Williams, Archie Sechrest, Jack Lawrence, and Art Atkinson.

He was born July 4, 1926, in Henryetta, and married Mary Jo (Jo) Garvin on Sept. 5, 1968, in Sherman, Texas. They moved to Sapulpa 21 years ago and opened Dan and Jo’s Daylight donut Shop which they operated until his illness. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include wife Mary Jo; sons Larry Black of Tulsa, Michael Parker of Albuquerque, N. M., Rick Parker of Joplin, Mo.; daughters Ollie Taylor of Sapulpa, Pam Wilson of Joplin Mo., Joyce Kennon, Judy Fox and Cindy Hullenm, all of Tulsa; brother Charles Black of Morgansville, Ky.; sisters Helen Protwood of Tyler, Texas, Mary McCoy of Tulsa and Barbara Clark of Dallas, Texas; and 19 grandchildren.

The family will headquarter at the Black home.
