JOHN BERRY
MACOMB — Former area resident John Berry, 88, of Macomb, died Thursday in an
Oklahoma City hospital.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday at Prairie View Cemetery,
Macomb, with Harold Frank officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
Mr. Berry was born March 22, 1903, in Decaterville, Mo. He married Ruby West
Oct. 12, 1928, in Sapulpa. He lived in Kellyville until 1950 when he moved to a
farm east of Norman.
Mr. Berry had lived near Macomb since 1962. He was a farmer and worked in
commercial building construction until retiring in 1965.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Kenneth and Donald Berry, seven brothers
and sisters, and his wife, Ruby.
Survivors include daughters Joan Wall of Oklahoma City, patsy Fox of
Gordonville, Texas, Viola Sears of Macomb, Rebecca Heitz of Norman and Kay Allen
of Jones; son John Berry of Noble; nine grandchildren; and three
great-grandchildren.
