VELMA BENSON

HOBART— Velma "Edith" Benson, 77, of Hobart, died Friday in Hobart.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Hobart with the Rev. Mike Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at Hobart Rose Cemetery under the direction of Gish Funeral Home.

She was a retired nurse and attended the First Baptist Church of Hobart.

Survivors include son Jerry Benson of Sapulpa; daughter Glenda Ellis of Sapulpa; brother Jack Landrum of Porum; sisters Effie Carrlisle and Mrs. Bert Spiba, both of Hobart; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
