Funeral services for Richard Wayne Bennett were held 10 am Thursday at the South Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Hamilton officiating. Bennett died last Sunday.

Burial followed at the South Heights Cemetery. 

Casketbearers were Darrell Smith, Bob Simpson, O. L. Acker, Doug Alexander, Tom Thompson and Jerry Spunagule. Honorary bearers were Ed Curfman, Frank Meens and Dennis Bridgewater.

Services are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
