BEGLEY, FLOYD W.,

Funeral services for Floyd W. BEGLEY, 91, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Mallory Funeral Home Chapel in Sallisaw, with Pastor John Earnhart officiating. Burial was in Akins Cemetery northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

He was born July 2, 1912, in Kellyville to Joe Abe BEGLEY and Ida (HILL) BEGLEY. He died Friday, July 18, 2003, in Pryor.

Mr. BEGLEY was a former employee for Coop in Sallisaw and was an avid reader and enjoyed reading his favorite books Louis LaMour Westerns. He also enjoyed gardening, family gatherings and outdoor activities.He married Lenora MOORE on Aug 17, 1933, in Sapulpa.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Jawanda "Jo" MOZINGO and her husband Bob of Pryor and Elaine ADAMS and her husband Greg of Sallisaw; one son and daughter-in-law, Clifton BEGLEY and his wife of Pryor; 12 grandchildren;21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Bill SELF of Claremore; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were Mark Begley, Chris Begley, Jeff Begley, T.J. Morehouse, Corey Hallman, Kerry Hallman and Jake Ailey. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Self, Tommy Ken Thrash, Curt Moore, Johnny Dale Moore, Joe Moore, Curt McGlothlin and Bob Barbee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lenora Dovie BEGLEY; one son, Clayton Edward BEGLEY; and his parents.
