BEETS

J. W. "Bill" Beets, 314 W. Cleveland Ave., died Monday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center at the age of 85.

Services are set for Wednesday afternoon at 2. The Rev. Don Barefoot will officiate at the Kellyville Methodist Church.

Burial will be in the South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Beet was born Aug 2, 1899, in Missouri. He was a farmer-stockman in the Kellyville area before moving to Sapulpa 10 years ago. He was a member of the Kellyville Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Hope, of the home; one son, Harvey Beets of Bartlesville; four daughters, Margaret LUCAS and Mary STEPHENSON of Sapulpa, Billie BOHANNON of Neosha, Kan., and Dorothy TALBERT of Houston, TX; one brother, Sam Beets of California; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Casketbearers will be his grandsons - Bill Bohannon, Jamie Bohannon, Tim Bohannon, David Lucas, Bill Beets and Bob Beets.
