Dolores P. “Dodi” Beamis, 66, of Bristow, died Thursday, Aug. 3, 1995, after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Bristow’s First Assembly of God Church, with the Rev. Robert O. Fraley officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, north of Mannford. Kelley Funeral Home of Okmulgee is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Beamis was born Feb. 28, 1929 in Chickasha to Gilbert Daniel and Ruth E. Lacer Jenkins. She had been a resident of Bristow for the last 20 years, moving to Bristow from Tulsa.

She married Cliff Beamis on Dec. 17, 1960 in Okmulgee.

She was a member of Bristow’s First Assembly of God Church.

In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, Gilbert Ross Beamis, of Bristow; two daughters, Pamela Sue Hatton of Kellyville and Mona Kay Tallent of Bristow; two brothers, Gilbert Daniel Jenkins Jr. of Okmulgee and Larry Leon Jenkins of Sand Springs; one sister, Betty Jean Burke of Duluth, MN; and six grandchildren.
