Mr. Julius Barnes, 75, of Route 1 died Wednesday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at First Christian Church with Russell Casey officiating.

Burial will be in South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Barnes was born March 23, 1912, in Calhoun, La., and had lived in Sapulpa 42 years.

He was employed as a parts inspector for American Airlines and was a Baptist and a lifetime member of the Transport Workers of America.

Survivors include wife Lois; sons Jessie and Frank, both of Sapulpa, and Lynn Doyle Barnes of San Diego; daughters Rosalee Ladd of Tulsa and Cabian Carl of Tehachapi, Calif.; sister Elizabeth Scruggs of Long Beach, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
