Thelma M. Ballard, 89, of Tulsa, died Monday at her home.

Memorial services are to be held at 1 pm Thursday in the Green Hills Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. John Nelsen officiating under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Ballard was born Feb 15, 1905 in Green wood, Ark. and had lived in Tulsa the past 18 years moving there from Houston, Texas. While in Houston she was one of the founding members of the Houston Geological Auxiliary and was an active volunteer.
