Dusty Baker, 16, of Mannford died in the Mannford area on Friday, Aug. 8, 2008.

He was born in Tulsa on Sept. 17, 1991, the son of Dallas Jay Baker III and Angela (Lawrence) Baker.

Dusty had completed his sophomore year at Mannford High School and would have been a junior this coming school year. He loved to fish, watch movies and hang out with friends, of which he had many.

He is survived by his mother, Angela Lawrence, and step-father, Carl Sanders of Mannford; his father, Dallas Jay Baker III of Tulsa; a brother, Daniel Jacob Baker of Mannford; grandparents, Dorothy and Bruce Cavin of Sand Springs and Michael and Marjorie Lawrence of Sand Springs; and a great-grandfather, Billy Lawrence of Sapulpa.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dallas Jay Baker Jr. and Nina Baker.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Aug. 12 at Crossroads Tabernacle Church in Tulsa. Reverend Erick Goodman officiated. Interment followed at Woodland Memorial Park under the direction of Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service.
