Services for Claud Armstrong, Sapulpa, were scheduled for 2 pm Wednesday at Green Hills Mausoleum Chapel.

Officiating was the Rev. Gary Thiessen. Interment followed in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens. Smith Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Armstrong was a long time resident of Sapulpa and died Sunday at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home.

Claud Armstrong, 89, 310 W. Taft, died Sunday at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Wednesday at Green Hills Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Gary Thiessen officiating.

Burial is to follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Armstrong was born Nov 6, 1904 in Johnson County, Indian Territory. He had lived in Sapulpa the last 22 years moving here from Oklahoma City. He was a retired pipeliner and served the U. S. Army during world War II.

He is survived by nieces and nephews, and preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

The family will headquarter at the home of Mrs. Ted (Norma) Bunch west of Sapulpa.
