Updated: 06 Sep 2009 ANDERSON, R. E. "Teenie" BEGGS - R. E. "Teenie" Anderson, 86, Beggs, died Thursday at Okmulgee Memorial Hospital. Services are scheduled for 2 pm Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Beggs with the Revs. Don Walker and Floyd McKee officiating. Burial will be at Mounds Cemetery under the direction of Spivey Funeral Home, Beggs. Mr. Anderson was born Aug 27, 1902, in Coral County, Texas, and moved to Oklahoma as a child. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He married Marlee Rawlings who died in 1952. Mr. Anderson married Alice Rice in 1955. Survivors include wife Alice of home; sons Robert James Anderson of Mounds, Billy Paul Anderson of Beggs; daughters Retha Beard of Mound, Jackie Pittman of Grove, Okla., Carol Turner of Beggs; brother Mutt Anderson of Beggs; sisters Wilma Eldridge of Tulsa and Juaminia Dawson of Pryor, Okla; 20 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. |
