Justice Needs New Pair Of Glasses
Justice of the Peace, Guy L. TRIMBLE, became so absorbed in a case
which was being tried in his court Saturday, that he lost his glasses.
The story, as related by an eye witness, is that TRIMBLE, who was
holding a smoking cigar in his hand and resting his head on the some hand,
let the fire end get too near the celluloid rims of his glasses.
The rims immediately flamed up and encircled the peace justice's face, resulting
in several small blisters, a fresh hair cut and trimmed eye lashes.
A new pair of spectacles was secured and the trial continued.
