CRITCHFIELD: Born 1852, Died 1916
Joshua Critchfield born in Livingston County, Missouri, April 4, 1852. Married to Angeline O'Keef September 11, 1876.
Thirteen children were born to the union and all were present at the funeral except one. There were six boys and seven girls, all living, and all  residing at Edmond but three.
Deceased moved from Kansas to Oklahoma in 1901, lived at Wellston, until about two years ago, when he moved to Edmond. He always had good health, and worked hard all his life to maintain his family and educate them. Last August he took sick and after a few days of sickness, got up and was about for a few days, and then relapsed, from which he was never able to recover.
He peacefully passed away Nov. 16th at his home at 8:45. During his long seize of illness (sickness) he never complained, he was pleasant with everything the family did for him, and said, "I AM READY AND WILLING TO GO ONLY ONE REGRET I DO NOT LIKE TO LEAVE MY FAMILY."
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Funeral was held at the  deceased's home Nov. 18th and buried at Grace Lawn Cemetery, quite a large crowd was in attendance at the funeral. Mrs. Ogleene lead the singing, Evangelist Henry L. Wellston, conducted the funeral.

February 1917

John BOONE died at the home of his son, W. M Boone, who lives two miles northeast of town, Sunday night, Feb. 4, 1917, death resulting from heart trouble.
He came here about a month ago from Arkansas City, Kansas, and had been failing somewhat in health since. deceased was 84 years of age last July, and is survived by his wife. three sons and two daughters.
He was a veteran of the civil war, having served with credit in Co. H, 31st Indiana Volunteers Infantry.
Funeral services were held at his son's home Monday, being conducted by Oscar Haymaker, followed by internment at Wellston Cemetery.

Nathaniel C Sellers

N. C. Sellers departed this life Friday, October 17, 1919, death resulting from a kick from a horse received the day previous. His age was 68 years, 1 month and 22 days. He was born in Lewis County, Missouri, and was married to Miss Mary Keith of Iowa. To this union two children were born, a son and a daughter, Charley and Lara, both of whom survive to morn his loss, besides a host of friends. He gave his life to God in his young days and was a member of the M. E. church. He was laid to rest in the Christy cemetery, the funeral services being conducted by Rev. C. O. Haymaker.

Last Thursday evening while doctoring a horse, Dr. Sellars was kicked by the animal which resulted in his death Friday evening at one o'clock. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at the Warwick church; and he was laid to rest in the Christy Cemetery. He leaves a son and daughter, besides a host of friends to mourn the loss of a kind father and an upright citizen.

March 1930 - Mrs. John BOONE.
Martha GAMMON was born in Lawrence County, Indiana on July 22, 1848 and died in her home in Kaw City, Oklahoma, March 4, 1930, at the age of 81 years, 7 months and 12 days.
She was united in marriage to John Boone in 1869, who preceded her in death February 4, 1917. To this union was born eleven children, five preceding her in death.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Florence WEBB of Arkansas City, Kan., and Mrs Susie MASEMORE of Kaw City and four sons, Lemul BOONE of Arkansas City, Kans., and Wm. , Walter C, and Daniel E. BOONE all of Kaw City, also by two sisters, Mrs Susan HALL of Wellston and Mrs. Etta FORD of Arkansas City, Kans., 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who remain to mourn her departure.
Grandma BOONE was converted and united with the Methodist Church, living in the faith until death.
The body was brought to Wellston for burial, Wednesday, funeral services being held in the Assembly of God church at 2 o'clock p.m., after which internment was made in the Wellston Cemetery by the side of her husband to await the resurrection. The bereaved have our deepest, heartfelt sympathy,
