ROSS
Services for Jess ROSS, 60, Evansville, Arkansas, were held Saturday, April 27, 1991, at Hart Memorial Chapel with Mr. Leon BRASHEAR officiating. Interment was in the Elm Grove Cemetery.
He was born on April 12, 1931 in Stilwell to Tom and Nettie Naomi CATRON ROSS. He died Thursday, April 25, 1991 at Hastings Hospital in Tahlequah. He was a laborer and was of the Church of Christ faith. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Rufus ROSS.
He is survived by his mother, Nettie, of Oklahoma; one daughter, Carolyn, of Oklahoma; one son, Bobby Joe, of Oklahoma; five brothers, James, Emmett, Charles and Albert, of Oklahoma and Bill of Arizona; four sisters, Martha, Juanita and Kathryn of Oklahoma and Rosia of California; and three grandchildren.

HIGHTOWER
Mrs. Lorena KETCHER PADGETT and Mrs. Andrew (Pixie MORTON) CAIN and her daughter, Raydena RUTHERFORD, attended services for their cousin, Roscoe HIGHTOWER, in Vinita on Wednesday, April 24.
HIGHTOWER's father, Lloyd E. HIGHTOWER, was a brother to Mrs. Jessie KETCHER PETTIT. His mother Pansy BROCK HIGHTOWER, was a sister of Mrs. Lee (Marvie BROCK) KETCHER and Mrs. John (Millie BROCK) CATCHER.
HIGHTOWER, 71, died Friday, April 19, 1991, in Tulsa. He was born September 23, 1919, in Stilwell to Lloyd E. and Pansy BROCK HIGHTOWER.
He was married to Eunice S. SWIFT of Vinita in 1943.
He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War 11 and the Korean Conflict.
He was employed with the M.K. & T., Rock Island and Cotton Belt Railroads until retiring in 1982 and moving back to Vinita.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include: five children, Eddene, Lavon, Frances, Ross and Sue; 14 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Services were held at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Vinita with interment in the Bluejacket Cemetery.

BURGESS
Graveside services for Iva BURGESS, 75, Rockport, Texas, were to be held Wednesday, May 1, at Aransas Memorial Park under the direction of Marshall-Reamy Funeral Home of Rockport.
She was born on September 28, 1915 in Stilwell to John and Rose GIBSON BURGESS. She died April 28, 1991, in a Corpus Christi hospital. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Jim of Rockport; and three grandsons.

BARKER
Services for Mrs. Ethel Lucy CASTEEL BARKER, 84, Stilwell, were held Thursday, May 30, 1991 at the Chalk Bluff Cemetery with the Rev. Randy PROCTOR and the Rev. G.H. CRITTENDEON officiating. Interment was under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
She was born on May 10, 1907 in Gideon, Indian Territory, to Samuel L. CASTEEL and Nancy MORGAN CASTEEL. She died Tuesday, May 28 at Memorial Hospital in Stilwell. She was a longtime Stilwell area resident. She was married to Floyd BARKER on September 27, 1925 in Chalk Bluff. He preceded her in death on November 9, 1988. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Bill and Joe; one sister, Essie; three brothers, Erman, Herman and Ralph, all of Oklahoma; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

THOMAS
Eddie THOMAS, 64 year old Stilwell carpenter, died Monday, June 3, 1991, at the Veterans Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.
THOMAS, born June 30, 1926 in Stilwell to Everett THOMAS and Lilly Edythe THOMAS was a veteran of World War 11.
Survivors include: three daughters, Janice of Arkansas, Karen of Oklahoma and Kayla of Mississippi; and five grandchildren.
Services were to be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday of this week at the Roberts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Aaron BARTON officiating, and interment in the Stilwell City Cemetery.

GORDON
Services for Jerry Doyle GORDON, Sr., 53 of Bunch, were held Sunday at Hart Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Delmas TAYLOR officiating. Interment was in the Bunch Cemetery.
He was born February 14, 1938 in Garyville, Louisiana, to Arthur GORDON and Eloise CAUSEY GORDON. He died Thursday, May 30, 1991, at Memorial Hospital in Stilwell. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and had lived in this area since 1982. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was married to Grace B. BABIN on December 28, 1956 in St. Amant, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Kenny and Gerald and one sister, Darlene.
He is survived by: his wife; two sons, Jerry of Virginia and Ellis of Stilwell; three daughters, Janice, Joan and Ellen, all of Oklahoma; three brothers, Monroe and Ronald of Louisiana and Arthur of Oklahoma; four sisters, Ramona, Shirley and Linda, all of Louisiana and Katherine of Texas; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

HAWK
Services for Jess HAWK, 82, Stilwell, who died Sunday, June 2, 1991 were to be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday of this week at the Cherry Tree Baptist Church.
The Reed-Culver Funeral Home of Tahlequah was in charge of arrangements.

MUSHRUSH
Services for Herschel Carl (Jack) MUSHRUSH Jr., 46, of Westville will be held today at 10 a.m. at Hart Funeral Home chapel in Westville, with the Rev. Jim Hoipkemier officiating. Interment will be Friday in the Hunter Cemetery, Hunter, Arkansas.
He was born September 13, 1944 in Memphis, Tennessee, and died at his home.
He moved to Westville in 1977. He taught at Westville High School for 14 years.
He is survived by: two sons, Carl of North Carolina and Mark of Arkansas; and his mother, Evelyn of Arkansas.

CLOUD
Harold R. CLOUD, 73, a former resident of Bell community in Adair County, died May 23, 1991 at the Veterans Hospital in Oklahoma City.
CLOUD, born October 16, 1917 to Frank Ray CLOUD and Mary P. DAY CLOUD in Oakwood, Oklahoma, and was married to Loys D. BLACK on July 18, 1938 in Muskogee. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War 11. He was a member of the Oakwood Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five sons, Raymond, Dannie, James, Jimmie and Jackie and one great grandchild.
Survivors include: his wife; one son, Frank; and one daughter Donna, all of Oklahoma; seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Services were held Wednesday, May 29 at the First Baptist Church in Greenfield with the Rev. Floyd KESTER of Stilwell officiating.
Interment was in the Fountain Cemetery near Oakwood under the direction of the Turner Funeral Home in Geary.

RICH
Clifton RICH, 74, a retired railroad inspector, died Thursday, July 4, 1911 at Memorial Hospital in Stilwell. RICH was born November 1, 1916 in Crawford County, Arkansas, to Lee Thomas RICH and Eva Ethel HALL RICH.
Survivors include: his wife; three sons, Clifton of Colorado, Donald of Florida and Robert of Colorado; eight grandchildren; nine sisters, Opal, Greta, Elwanda, Lorene, Meg, Erma, Margie and Wilma, all of Oklahoma, and Geneva of California.
Services were held Saturday July 6 at Roberts Funeral Chapel with Rev. Willard STONE of Muskogee officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Salida, Colorado.

TRIMBLE
Services for Roy C. TRIMBLE, 85, Cookson, were to be held Wednesday, of this week at 1:30 p.m. in Stilwell Church of Christ with Rev. Joe SMITH officiating, and interment in the Cookson Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
He was born March 27, 1906 in Myrtle, Missouri, to George W. and Laour TRIMBLE and died Sunday, July 14, 1991, at Tahlequah City Hospital.
Retired from American Airlines in 1971, he was a member of Stilwell Church of Christ. He married Iona CLEMENTS on December 11, 1947 in Fletcher, Oklahoma.
He is survived by his wife, Iona, of the home; one daughter, Glenda of Washington; two sisters, Margie of Missouri and Mava of California; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Preceding him in death are 13 brothers and four sisters. The family prefers memorials to Turley Children's Home, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

CANTRELL
Services for Hazel Marie CANTRELL, 72, Stilwell, were held Monday, July 15, at the Hart Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jim SISCO officiating. Interment was in the Stilwell City Cemetery. She was born July 23, 1918 in Hempstead, Texas, to John Walter and Dora Beatrice CONNOR HUGHES. She died Friday, July 12, 1991 at Memorial Hospital in Stilwell. She was a member of the Free Holiness Mission.
She was married to Ola A. CANTRELL on January 4, 1936 in Stilwell. He preceded her in death on December 7, 1990. A daughter, Earlene SCRAPER, preceded her in death on August 11, 1985.
She is survived by: two sons, Bud and Richard of Arkansas; three daughters, Glenola, Kaylyn and Oleta of Oklahoma; two brothers, Walter and Joe of Missouri; one sister, Johnnie of Missouri; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

HOWARD
Mrs. Sylvia Elva HOWARD, 80, died Wednesday, July 3, 1991 at her home in Lawton. She was born May 29, 1911 in Oklahoma to William Lee WILSON and Oma KINDLE WILSON. She was married to Clarence HOWARD on December 24, 1930. He died May 27, 1975.
Survivors include: one son, William E.; and one daughter, Saundra, both of Oklahoma; one brother, William of Virginia; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday, July 6 at the Proctor Community Church with Rev. Bill Grass of Locust Grove officiating. Interment in the Proctor Cemetery was under the direction of the Roberts Funeral Home.

ELMS
Mrs. Grace E. ELMS, 98, died at her home in Monte Rio, California, on Wednesday, July 3, 1991. Mrs. ELMS, who was born in Weddington, Arkansas, had lived in California with her daughter, Jean and son-in-law Woodrow ULM for 27 years.
Other survivors include: one other daughter, Dorothy of California; two sons, Walter of Oklahoma and Donald of Texas; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. At her request, no services were held in California. Interment was in the Borger, Texas, cemetery.

EUBANKS
Services for Jimmy Dale (Jim) EUBANKS, 44, Stilwell, were to be held Wednesday of this week at 2 p.m. at Hart Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Bill ROUNDTREE officiating, and interment in the Spade Mountain Cemetery.
He was born April 8, 1947, in Stilwell to Leonard J. and Rosa L. KILLION EUBANKS and died Sunday August 4, 1991, at Memorial Hospital in Stilwell. He was a lifetime resident of this area and was night manager of Stilwell Foods where he was employed for 21 years. He was married to Judy CALHOON on February 28, 1969 in Stilwell. He was a member of the Rocky Mountain Community Church. He is survived by: his wife; one son, Greg; one daughter, Julie; his mother Rosa; two brothers, Wayne and Ervin; and one sister, Shirley, all of Oklahoma.

KIRK
Services for Kenneth Wayne KIRK, 24, Stilwell, were held Friday, August 2, 1991 at Bell Baptist Church with the Rev. Juke KESTER officiating.
Interment was in the Kirk Mountain Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
He was born December 4, 1966 in Stilwell to J.D. and Myrtle Louise PACK KIRK. He died Wednesday, July 31 in Springdale, Arkansas, of injuries suffered in an automobile accident on July 23, 1991.
He is survived by: his father; his mother; his step-mother, Fannie; step-father, Grover; one brother, John; five sisters, Karen, Mary, Charlene, Kathy and Jackie; one half-brother, Sam; three half-sisters, Paula, Loretta and Henryetta; his grandparents, Mary and Bill; and one great-grandmother, Melvina, all of Oklahoma.

BLACKWOOD
Douglas BLACKWOOD, 63, a retired welder, died Thursday, August 1, 1991 at the Memorial Hospital, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. BLACKWOOD, born October 8, 1927 to George BLACKWOOD and Alice SCRAPER BLACKWOOD near Baron, spent most of his life in this area. He was married to Sadie CAGLE on March 14, 1954. Survivors in addition to his wife include: one son, Mike of Oklahoma; one daughter, Carol of Oklahoma; five brothers, Raymond of Arkansas, and Eugene, Cecil, Emmett and Quannah of Oklahoma; four sisters, Mae Jean of Arkansas and Emma, Patricia and Sue of Oklahoma; and six grandchildren, two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son and his parents.
Services were held Saturday, August 3, at the Roberts Funeral Chapel in Westville with Rev. Bob Adcox officiating. Interment was in the Downing Cemetery.

BROWN
Mrs. Isabelle BROWN, 86, died Tuesday, August 6, 1991 at Muskogee Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include one daughter, Bonnie of Oklahoma.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Hart Memorial Chapel; with the Rev. Randy PROCTOR officiating. Interment will be in the Gravette, Arkansas cemetery.

WHALER
Henry WHALER, 65, a U.S. Army Veteran of World War 11, died Wednesday, July 30, 1991, at the Hastings Hospital in Tahlequah.
WHALER was born October 20, 1925 in Cherokee County to Walter and Janeenna PRITCHETT WHALER. He attended Pumpkin Hollow School. He married Dora Mae CRITTENDEN in 1951. He worked for many years with Ray COLBURN relocating cemeteries throughout the U.S. He was a former member of the American Legion Post in Watts and of the Illinois River Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Randall, Henry Jr., Dewayne and Ronnie; two daughters, Shirley and Reata; two brothers, Dan and Levi; one sister, Jennie; all of Oklahoma; 17 grandchildren; four step- grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Services were held Thursday, August 1, in the Reed Culver Chapel, Tahlequah, with the Rev. Randall CUMMINGS officiating. Interment was in the Crittenden Cemetery.

REESE
Lester Lee REESE, 69, a retired machinist, died Sunday, August 4, 1991, at his home in Proctor.
REESE was born September 2, 1921 to John C. REESE and Lela CRITTENDEN REESE.
Survivors include: his wife, Naomi; one son, Mark; one sister, Maxine; four nieces and seven nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Services were to be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Proctor Community Church with Rev. Bill Grass officiating and interment in the Proctor Cemetery under the direction of the Roberts Funeral Home of Westville.

NOFIRE
Services for Gary Wayne NOFIRE, 38, Stilwell man fatally injured when struck by a KCS Railway locomotive here on July 30, 1991 were held Friday, August 2 at the Oak Ridge Church with Rev. Richard PICKUP officiating.
Interment in the Oak Ridge Cemetery, south of Stilwell, was under the direction of the Wheeler Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
NOFIRE was born June 4, 1953 in Tahlequah to Jerry and Louise PRITCHETT NOFIRE.
Survivors include: two sons, James and Gary; three daughters, Roanetta, Cary and Jennifer; his parents Jerry and Louise; his paternal grandfather Robert; his maternal grandmother, Nancy; three brothers, Eugene, Maxie and Junior; six sisters, Pauline, Eva, Norma, Laverne, Rose and Naice, all of Oklahoma; three uncles; five aunts and 25 nieces and nephews.

ALBERTY
Marvin (Kenny) ALBERTY, 68, a native of Stilwell, died Sunday, August 4, 1991, in Tulsa. ALBERTY, born September 14, 1922, in Stilwell to Marvin and Irene ALBERTY, was a retired employee of American Airlines in Tulsa.
Survivors include: his wife, Mildred; one son, Eddie; two grandsons; one brother, Bob; two sisters, Juanita and Louise, all of Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Albert and a brother A.J.
Services were held Wednesday, August 7, at Olivet Baptist Church with interment at the Sunrise Cemetery in Kellyville under the direction of the Mobley-Dodson Funeral Home.

CAVINESS
Tim CAVINESS, 24, a resident of Stilwell who formerly lived in Dover, Arkansas, died Tuesday, August 6, 1991 near Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
CAVINESS, an employee of Tyson, was a member of the Stilwell Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include: his parents, Boyd and Linda; one sister, Tina; his grandmother Lucille; his great grandmother Biddie; one niece; and several aunts and uncles, all of Arkansas.
Services were held Friday August 9 at the Oakland Heights Assembly of God Church in Russellville, Arkansas, by the Rev. Clyde QUICK and the Rev. Lester CHISUM. Interment was in the Coleman Cemetery near Pelsor, Arkansas, under the direction of the Humphrey Funeral Service of Russellville.
CAVINESS was killed in a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 412 just west of Benton-Washington County line in Arkansas. Officials said he was traveling west on the highway when he lost control of the vehicle on the wet pavement and crossed the center line, hitting a van driven by Thomas CARSON of Tontitown, Arkansas.

KILLER
Services for Mrs. Lydia Lou KILLER, 54, Bunch, were held Saturday at Hart Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Floyd KESTER, Jr. and the Rev. Lawrence EAGLE officiating. Interment was in the Chuculate Cemetery.
She was born May 11, 1937 in Adair County to Isaac PRITCHETT and Charlotte L. QUINTON PRITCHETT. She died Thursday, August 8, 1991 in W.W. Hastings Hospital in Tahlequah. A lifetime resident of Adair County, she was a member of the New Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother and one daughter, Ramona PRITCHETT LIVERS.
She is survived by: one son, David; four daughters, Pamela, Tena, Lynn and Amie, all of Oklahoma; three brothers, Charlie and George of Oklahoma, and Phil of Missouri; two sisters, Leona and Hester of Oklahoma and father Isaac of Oklahoma; and eight grandchildren.

HAMILTON
Willard Dale HAMILTON, 40, an Arkansas dairy farmer, died Tuesday, August 13, 1991 in Summers, Arkansas.
HAMILTON, born September 10, 1950 to Cecil Lee (Bill) HAMILTON and Mae Lois MARSHALL HAMILTON in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, is survived by: his wife, Gail; three sons Keefton, Juan, and Cecil of Arkansas; his mother, Mae of Oklahoma; two brothers, Robert of Arkansas and Odean of Oklahoma; and four sisters, Etta, Carolyn, Trella and Wilma all of Arkansas.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Roberts Funeral Chapel in Westville with Rev. Terry GUTHRIE officiating. Interment will be in the Old Union Cemetery at Cincinnati, Arkansas.

BROWN
Services for Mrs. Isabelle Ruth BROWN, 86, Stilwell, were held Friday at Hart Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Randy PROCTOR officiating. Interment was in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Gravette, Arkansas. She was born February 9, 1905 in Arkansas to Spencer CARSON and Emma BAILEY CARSON. She died Tuesday, August 6, 1991 at Muskogee Regional Medical Center. She was a 25 year resident of Stilwell. She was married to Herbert BROWN on July 12, 1925 in Kansas City, Missouri. He preceded her in death in 1964. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by; one daughter, Bonnie of Oklahoma; one granddaughter, Toni of Louisiana; and one grandson, Joe of Arizona.

SISK
Mrs. Esther Lenora SISK, 93, a native of Benton County, Arkansas, died Thursday, October 3, 1991 at the Quail Ridge Living Center in West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma
Mrs. SISK, born December 13, 1897 to John Williams BUTLER and Lou Ella KINSER BUTLER, is survived by: one son, Cecil; and one daughter, Beulah, both of Oklahoma; two brothers, Thomas and Chester, both of Oregon; two sisters, Mae of Oregon and Edith of Kansas; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Services were held Sunday in the Roberts Funeral Chapel, Westville, with the Rev. Boyce MOON officiating. Interment was in the Westville City Cemetery.

OLLIS
Mrs. Iva N. OLLIS, 80, a native of Adair County, died Thursday, October 3, 1991, at Memorial Hospital in Stilwell. Mrs. OLLIS was born September 15, 1911 at Bunch to George W. OLLIS and Willie HOLLOWAY OLLIS.
Survivors include: two daughters, Marie and Josephine; one sun, S.W., all of Oklahoma; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Services were held Saturday, October 5, at the Roberts Funeral Chapel in Stilwell with Rev. Paul PAHMIYER of Lincoln, Arkansas, officiating.
Interment was in the Bunch Cemetery.

ORMAN
Alton Woodlee ORMAN, 72, a retired U.S. Air Force master sergeant, died Tuesday, October 1, 1991 at his home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was born February 2, 1919 in Hamilton County, Texas, to John Brown ORMAN and Hallie WOODLEE ORMAN, was married to Isabel PAPROSKI in 1948 in Denver, Colorado. She preceded him in death on March 3, 1991.
He attended San Angelo Junior college, San Angelo, Texas, and was employed at the Cactus Hotel in San Angelo as night auditor and clerk before moving to California in 1941 where he was employed by Doublas Aircraft. He then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served in England during World War 11. He was later stationed in Iceland and he retired from the Air Force in 1963 after 21 years of service. He was employed by the U.S. Forest Service in Albuquerque until his retirement in 1981.
Survivors include: two daughters, Jean and Mary Ann of New Mexico; four sons, John and Gerald of New Mexico and Michael and Joseph of California; one sister, Lucille of Oklahoma; a half-sister, Mildred of Texas; one step-brother, Walton of California; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father in 1927, by his mother in 1981, and by his stepfather, W.R. BOYKIN Sr., in 1945.
Services were held Friday, October 4, at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Alburquerque with Strong-Thorne Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
Interment was in Albuquerque.

JONES
Wilma Louise WARNOCK JONES died Sunday, October 6, 1991. She was 58.
She is survived by: two sons, Raymond of Arkansas and Jimmy of Oklahoma; two daughters, Marsha and Vicki, both of Oklahoma; her mother and stepfather of Arkansas; her father and stepmother of Oklahoma; four brothers, Calvin, J.W. and C.W., all of Arkansas and Harold of Kentucky; and three sisters, Gladys and Frances of Arkansas and Delois of Oklahoma.
Services were to be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday of this week at the Fair Pentecostal Church in Talihina.

BUCKNER
Graveside services for George M. BUCKNER, 60, Stilwell, will be held today at 1 p.m. at Ewing Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Leon BRASHEAR officiating. Interment will be under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
He was born on January 15, 1931 in California and died last Friday, October 4, 1991 in El Paso, Texas. He was a farmer and truck driver and a member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his father, Taylor H. BUCKNER; four brothers, Estel, J.W., Eldon, and T. H. BUCKNER; and two sisters, Marjorie WILLIAMS and Lou Ellen BUCKNER.
He is survived by: two sons, Dan Lee of Florida and George of Oklahoma; his mother, Goldie of Oklahoma; five brothers, W.H., Elzie, Roy Lee and Taylor of Oklahoma and Henry of Texas; one sister, Zelpha of Arkansas; and four grandchildren.

Shawn Wayne O'NEAL, 32, died November 11, 1991 in Stilwell after a long illness. He was born February 10, 1959 to Lester and Lorral HUGGIN in California.
He was a board member in good standing and a volunteer worker for Trans-Aid Support Services, Inc., in Orlando, Florida. He was a professional cook at Disney World and a licesnsed barber and beautician.
Survivors include: one brother, Kyle; five stepbrothers; two stepsisters; and his mother, Lorrall of Oklahoma; two nephews, six nieces, aunts and uncles, and grandmothers in California. He was preceded in death by one brother.
Cremation was under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home of Stilwell.

LACIE
The Rev. Albert Taylor LACIE, a retired minister, died Sunday, November 24, 1991 at the Tahlequah City Hospital. He was 78 years old. Mr. LACIE was born December 17, 1912 in Westville to Silas Walter LACIE and Katie Pauline WALKINGSTICK LACIE.
Survivors include: his wife; four sons, Wayne, Jim, Rod and Keith, of Oklahoma; and four daughters, Bertha, Leola and Pauline, of Oklahoma, and Janet of Arkansas; two sisters, Eulalia and Juanita of Oklahoma; 20 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
Services were to be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday of this week to the Roberts Funeral Chapel of Westville with the Rev. Gary HAMPTON officiating, assisted by the Rev. Darrell LACIE and Rev. Ronnie SMALLEN, and interment in the Westville City Cemetery.

SCOTT
Mrs. Katie SCOTT, 90, a native of Stilwell, died Thursday, November 21, 1991, at Memorial Hospital in Stilwell. Mrs. SCOTT was born July 9, 1901 in Stilwell, Indian Territory, to Robin and Lucy HOGNER STAND. A lifelong resident of Stilwell, she attended Chilocco Indian School and Haskell Institute in Lawrence, Kansas.
She and Martin SCOTT were married in the 1920's. She was formerly employed as a cook at the Maryetta School. She was a member of the Fairfield Baptist Church, W.M.U. and Sunday school secretary.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1969, a daughter, Sally JONES in 1984, three sisters, and four brothers.
Survivors include: two daughters, Lucy and Louise; one son, John Henry; four sisters, Hester, Emmaline, Lizzie and Susie; three brothers, Andy, Charlie and George, all of Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
Services were held Monday, November 25 in the Fairfield Baptist Church with the Rev. Andy GONZALES officiating. Burial was in the Tyler Springs Cemetery under the direction of the Reed-Culver Funeral Home of Tahlequah.

RAIGOZA
Frankie Brady RAIGOZA Jr., 43, Stilwell, died Sunday, November 24, 1991 at St. Edward's Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. RAIGOZA, an employee of Stilwell Foods for four years, was born September 4, 1948 in Sallisaw to Albert Brady RAIGOZA Sr. and Leatrice SNOW RAIGOZA.
Survivors include: his wife, Reva; three children and three stepchildren, Franklin, Timothy, Farris, James and Shelly of Arkansas and Teresa of Oklahoma; ten grandchildren; three brothers, Ricke of Texas and Teddie and Olen of Arkansas; two sisters, Barbara of Oklahoma and Leana of Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one daughter. Services were to be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday of this week in the Roberts Funeral Chapel in Stilwell with Rev. Wiley LOVEJOY officiating and interment in the Stilwell City Cemetery.

OLIVE
Graveside services for Terry N. OLIVE, 36, Stilwell, were to be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Stilwell City Cemetery with the Rev. Billy CRAIG officiating, and interment under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
He was born on September 4, 1955 in Quay, Oklahoma, to Raleigh Allen OLIVE, Sr. and Marie TREAT OLIVE. He died Saturday, November 23, 1991 at Clarksville, Arkansas. He was a gas station attendant and a member of the Baron Baptist Church and the American Legion. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and had served as the Post Commander.
He is survived by: two sons, T.J. and Michael; one daughter, Rhonda; his mother Marie; two brothers, Raleigh and Richard; and two sisters, Joyce and Fern, all of Oklahoma.

MANN
Services for Orval (Shorty) MANN, 72, Stilwell, were held Monday at Hart Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Herman JONES and Brother Morris JONES officiating. Interment was in the National Cemetery at Fort Gibson.
He was born on April 21, 1919 in Van Buren, Arkansas, to Lee and Georgia POSTON MANN. He died Thursday, November 21, 1991 at St. Edwards Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Margaret PICKETT SPARKS on October 29, 1947 in Tahlequah. He served in the U.S. Army during World War 11.
He was a member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboy's Association and was of the Baptist Faith. His rodeo career began in 1934 when he was 16 at Madison Square Garden Rodeo in New York City and he later won the bull riding competition. He was bull riding champion of the old Cowboys Turtle Association (later the Professional Cowboys Rodeo Association) in 1944 and 1946. In 1947 he switched to being a clown because of numerous injuries received earlier. He retired from the professional rodeo circuit in 1959. He was awarded lifetime membership on the Professional Rodeo Cowboy's Association upon his retirement.
He is survived by: his wife, Margaret; a step-son, Gordon; two sons, Jack and Dalton, all of Oklahoma; four daughters, Linda of Texas, Marilyn of Idaho, and Sandra and Cindy of Oklahoma; three brothers, Walter of Arkansas, Don of Kansas, and Jay of Oklahoma; one sister, Georgia of Arkansas; and four grandchildren.

MILLER
Ronald Clyde MILLER, 48, a Stilwell farmer and retired trucker, died Sunday, November 17, 1991 in Tahlequah City Hospital. MILLER was born March 1, 1943 in Stilwell to Jidy and Bernice DELAY MILLER. He attended the Rocky Mountain and Cave Springs Schools. He was married to Sarah Jane WOLFE in 1962. He was an overland truck driver until 1986 when he retired and started farming.
Survivors include: his wife; two sons, Terry of Illinois and Michael of Oklahoma; one daughter, Diana of Oklahoma; his parents; one brother, Bud of Oklahoma; and two sisters, Barbara and Sue of Oklahoma; and one granddaughter. Servicews were held Wednesday, November 20 in the Reed-Culver Chapel in Tahlequah with the Rev. Mike MEEK officiating. Interment was in the Clear Springs Cemetery.

Bobby Ray FLETCHER, 57, a retired resident of Watts, died Sunday, December 1, 1991 at his home. FLETCHER, a former employee of Allen Canning Co., was born July 21, 1934 in Watts to Tom FLETCHER and Vada Mae GORDON FLETCHER. Survivors include: two sons, Jackie Ray and David Lee; his mother; and one brother, Bennie, all of Oklahoma; and three grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday, December 3, at the Baptist Mission with Rev. Jim BEAVERS of Watts officiating. Interment in the Baptist Mission Cemetery was under the direction of the Roberts Funeral Home of Westville.

GODDARD
Mrs. Mary Alma GODDARD, 82, died Monday, November 25, 1991, at her home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born May 14,1909 in Arkansas to John David DRAIN and Mattie MURPHY DRAIN.
Survivors include: three sons, Johnny and Bobby of Arkansas and Max of Oregon; one daughter, Betty of Arkansas; two sisters, Opal of Arkansas and Hester of California; one brother, Roy of California; 17 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
Services were held Friday, November 29 at the Roberts Funeral Chapel in Westville with Rev. Jack STEELE of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, officiating. Interment was in the Westville Cemetery.

GUTHRIE
Mrs. Martha GUTHRIE, 90, died Saturday, November 23, 19091 at the Alvarado Hospital in San Diego, California. Mrs. GUTHRIE was born December 15, 1900 in Boxley, Arkansas, to Sam SHERFIELD and Tilda ROBINSON SHERFIELD.
Survivors include: two sons, Virgil of California and Vindle of Oklahoma; one daughter, Pearl of California; four sisters, Millie and Bertha of Arkansas and Ora and Josie of California; 26 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
Services were held Friday, November 29 in the Roberts Funeral Chapel in Westville with Sister Flossie FANNING of Westville officiating. Interment was in the Westville City Cemetery.

McCONNELL
Mrs. Margaret Mae McCONNELL, 95, a native of Kansas, died Tuesday, November 26, 1991 at the Quail Ridge Living Center in West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma. She was born February 1896 in Hartford, Kansas, to George Marison SLOGGIN and Mary Estella BAYSINGER SLOGGIN.
Survivors include: one son, W.D.of Oklahoma; two grandsons; four great grandchildren; and a sister, Ora of Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Will McCONNELL, in September of 1965; and one grandson, Roy Don in February of 1990.
Services were held Saturday, November 30 in the Roberts Funeral Chapel in Westville with Rev. Ronnie BRADSHAW of Watts officiating. Interment was in the New Hope Cemetery north of Westville.

SECONDI
Services for Mrs. Mary Lue SECONDI, 65, Bunch, were held Saturday, November 30, 1991 at Chuculate Baptist Church with the Rev. Thomas STILL and the Rev. Richard PICKUP officiating. Interment was in the Chuculate Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home. She was born on December 2, 1925 in Adair County to John and Sally PRITCHETT CHUCULATE. She died Thursday, November 28 at Memorial Hospital in Stilwell. She was a member of the Rock Fence Baptist Church where she had served as secretary-treasurer for 25 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, William CHUCULATE; and her husband, Levi SECONDI.
She is survived by: two daughters, Reba and Glynnis; one sister, Betty; all of Oklahoma; four grandchildren and an uncle.

MILLER
Services for Mrs. Mildred Bernice MILLER, 75, Stilwell, were to be held Wednesday of this week at 2 p.m. at Hart Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Mike FINK officiating, and interment in the Bunch Cemetery. She was born on May 19, 1916 in Watts to Lem Coleman DELAY and Emma Elizabeth WATKINS DELAY. She died Monday, December 2, 1991 at W.W. Hastings Hospital in Tahlequah. She was a member of the Rocky Mountain Bible Church. She was married to Jidy MILLER on June 24, 1934 in Bunch.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Ronald Clyde MILLER and Gwen MILLER; a sister, Maxine DELAY McELDOWNEY; and one brother Leonard DELAY.
She is survived by: her husband; one son, Bud; and two daughters, Barbara and Sue, all of Oklahoma; three brothers, Adrian of Florida and Fred and J.B. of Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.

YORK
Mrs. Erma Lee YORK, 61, died Wednesday, November 27, 1991 at her home. She was born February 12, 1930 at Caney to Foss BRANNON and Haley ELVINGTON BRANNON. She had lived most of her life around Adair County. She was married to Eugene YORK in May 1950. She was of the Pentecostal faith, and had preached and sung in many churches in the community. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and two brothers.
Survivors include: her husband; two sons, Jerry and Doug, both of Montana; one daughter, Vicki of Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; three brothers, J.T., L.D. and Preston, all of Oklahoma; four sisters, Alleda, Darlene and Judy of Oklahoma and Maxine of California. Services were held Saturday, November 30, in the Reed-Culver Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Audie VAUGHN and the Rev. Bill ROUNDTREE officiating. Interment was in the Spade Mountain Cemetery.

RUSSUM
William Wesley RUSSUM, 76, died Wednesday, November 27, 1991 at the Muskogee Regional Medical Center. He was born November 2, 1915 in Forrest, Mississippi, to Andrew RUSSUM and Ryintha BRUCE RUSSUM, is survived by: his wife, Earlene; three sons, W.D. of Mississippi and Robert and Jerry Lee , both of Oklahoma; three daughters, Jean of Oklahoma and Rynthia and Carmen, both of Texas; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; two brothers, Glenn of California and Woods of Mississippi; and three sisters, Ollie of Mississippi and Pearl and Laura, both of Louisiana. Services were held Saturday, November 30 at the Roberts Funeral Chapel in Westville with the Rev. Bill CROW of Muskogee officiating. Interment was in the New Hope Cemetery, north of Westville.

Mrs. Golda ADAIR, former owner and operator of the Stilwell Flower Shop, died Sunday, December 16, 1990 at St. John's Medical Center in Tulsa. She was 81 years old. Mrs. ADAIR, born February 14, 1909 in Adair County to Walter D. and Sabina E. ADAIR BIGBY, owned and operated the flower shop until her retirement in 1980. She was married to Virgil ADAIR on November 4, 1928 in Stilwell. He preceded her in death on December 19, 1968. She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Rose Garden Club. Mrs. ADAIR was preceded in death by four brothers, W.J.B.(Buster), W.D., Rufus and Colbert BIGBY; and by five sisters, Maude MARTIN, Gladys ADAIR, Mary RHOADS and Blanche ADAIR.
Survivors include: two daughters, Jimmie Ruth and Judy Gail, both of Oklahoma; and two grandsons, Chris of Texas and Brad of England. Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday of this week in the Hart Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Bob HALL and the Rev. Hubert SPONSLER officiating, and interment in the Stilwell City Cemetery.

PATRICK
Services for Orville PATRICK, 87, Stilwell, were held Saturday, December 15 at the Hart Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Noble CASEY officiating. Interment was in the Bunch Cemetery. He was born November 11, 1903 in St. Paul, Arkansas, to Daniel H. PATRICK and Rosa RAY PATRICK. He died Wednesday, December 12, 1990, at Memorial Hospital in Stilwell. He was a farmer and merchant, having operated Patrick's Store at Lynons Switch for 50 years. He was married to Sarah B. HAMLIN on April 29, 1928 in Molloy Hollow. He was a member of the Bunch Baptist Church.
He is survived by: his wife; one son, Don of Oklahoma; two daughters, Patricia and Elena, both of Kansas; one brother, Doyle of Oklahoma; three sisters, Ona of Arkansas, Elsie of Oklahoma and Dessie of California; five granddaughters; and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Services for Frank A. POTTER, 87, Colcord were held Friday, December 13, 1991 in the Draper Center at Colcord, with the Rev. Coy SCROGGINS officiating. Interment was in the Row Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Westville. He was born January 22, 1904 in Colcord, Indian Territory, and died Tuesday, December 10, at Siloam Springs, Memorial Hospital. POTTER was a member of the Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters.
He is survived by one sister, Opal of Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews.

SAMMS
Services for Goodloe Carme SAMMS, 51, Stilwell, were to be held Wednesday of this week at 2 p.m. at the Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Lawrence EAGLE and the Rev. Martin COCHRAN officiating, and interment in the Salem Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
He was born on April 25, 1940 in Tahlequah to Floyd and Ruby THOMAS SAMMS. He died Monday, December 16, 1991 at Memorial hospital, Springdale, Arkansas. He was retired and was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was married to Lou Ann CHRISTIE on September 18, 1959 in Adair County.
He is survived by: his wife; one son, Jack; two daughters, Diane and Mary Ruth; his mother Ruby; one brother, Tommy, all of Oklahoma; and five grandchildren.

MATTOS
Graveside services for Joseph MATTOS, 77, Stilwell, were held Tuesday at Ketcher Cemetery with Father Charles SWEAT officiating. Interment was under the direction of Hart Funeral Home. He was born on September 17, 1914 in Oakland, California, to Manuel and Minnie MATTOS. He died Friday, at Memorial Hospital in Stilwell. He was a retired truck driver and was a Catholic. He was a member of the Catholic Church, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Teamsters Union.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War 11. He was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret MATTOS.
He is survived by two daughters; Jo Ann of California and Linda of Indiana and his special friend Juanita of Oklahoma.

WILKIE
Services for Mrs. Una TATUM WILKIE, 87, Stilwell, were held Thursday, December 12, 1991 in the Hart Memorial Chapel at Westville, with the Rev. Aaron BARTON officiating. Interment was in the Westville City Cemetery.
She was born August 9, 1904 at Reed Springs, Missouri to John and Bess EISENHOWER HARRIS. She died Tuesday, December 10, 1991 in Stilwell. She married John WILKIE in 1923 and he preceded her in death in 1946. Mrs. WILKIE was a member of the Watts Pentecostal Church. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
She is survived by: one son, Neal; six daughters, Barbara, Eula and Billie of California, Valma of Oklahoma, and Cordia and Betty of Oregon; two sisters, Marie and Hazel, both of Missouri; one brother, Wheeler of Missouri; two step-children; 42 grandchildren; 88 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

EAGLETON
Elmer William EAGLETON, 79, a retired employee of Frito Lay Co., died Wednesday, December 11, 1991 at Memorila Hospital in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. EAGLETON, a resident of Westville, was born June 15, 1912 to Don EAGLETON and Lena CRAWLY EAGLETON in Stilwell.
Survivors include: four sons, G.R., J.D., J.L. and J.C., all of Oklahoma; one brother, Otto of California; one sister, Daisy of Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Services were held Saturday, December 14 at the Roberts Funeral Chapel in Westville with Rev. Lynn ICE and Rev. James FELTNER officiating.
Interment was in the Westville City Cemetery.

MAPLES
Alvis Eugene MAPLES, 83, a resident of Westville, died Tuesday, December 10, 1991, at the Veterans Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born March 3, 1908 to William P. MAPLES and Florence A. BOWMAN MAPLES in Rocky, Oklahoma. He was a retired carpenter and a veteran of World War 11.
Survivors include: two brothers, Daniel of Missouri and Leonard of Texas; and two sisters, Ethel of Oregon and Edith of Oklahoma.
Services were held Saturday December 14, in the Roberts Funeral Chapel in Westville with Rev. Boyce MOON officiating. Interment was in the Westville City Cemetery.

COON
Services for Mrs. Ida Mae COON, 88, Westville were held Tuesday, December 17, 1991 at Hart Funeral Home Chapel in Westville, with the Rev. Martin COCHRAN officiating. Interment was in the England Hollow Cemetery.
She was born April 9, 1903 in Stilwell, Indian Territory, and was a lifetime resident of this area. She died Sunday, December 15, 1991 at Washington Regional Medical Center, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
She was married to Turtle COON in Stilwell in 1925. He preceded her in death in 1969. She was a member of Old Green Baptist Church where she was a deaconess.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Bertha COON; three sons, Riley, Sequoyah and Paul COON; a sister, Daisy FOURKILLER; and two brothers, Tommy and Junior JONES.
She is survived by: two daughters, Lela Mae and Sherry, both of Oklahoma; three sons, George of Missouri and Nelson and Carl, both of Oklahoma; 24 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and a brother, Richard of Oklahoma.

LETT
Services for Max Elwyn LETT, 69, Cookson, were held Monday at Cookson Proctor Cemetery, with the Rev. Bob KANARY officiating. Services were under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell. He was born December 29, 1921 in Mound Valley, Kansas, and died Friday, December 13, 1991 at Memorial Hospital in Stilwell.
He retired from the army in 1960 with the rank of major. While in the Army he was a commander of a prisoner of war camp after World War 11. He served in Japan during the occupation for two years. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart.
He was a former resident of Coffeyville, Kansas. While there, he was with the Kansas State Employment Service for 20 years as a Veterans Representative. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Coffeyville, and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was married to Wintress HILLS on June 18, 1943 in Granada, Mississippi.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Max of New Mexico; three daughters, Sherry Ann of Oklahoma, Mary Jane of New York and Linda of Texas; eleven grandchildren; a brother, Howard of Nevada; and two sisters, Evelyn of Oklahoma and Josephine of Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Etta HUFF LETT; a son, James LETT; and two brothers, Harold and Forrest LETT.
