PATRICK
Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa PATRICK will be held Friday, June 12 in the
Roberts Funeral Home chapel, with burial in the Bunch Cemetery. Mrs. PATRICK
who was born December 10, 1883 in Tulahoma, Tenn., died Monday, June 8 in
the Stilwell Municipal hospital.
Survivors include: the husband D.H. of the home; three sons, Orville of Stilwell,
Ray of Tulsa, and Doyle of Muskogee; four daughters, Mrs. A.L. WILSON of
Altus, Ark., Mrs. Elsie P. CROFT of Tulsa, Mrs. LeRoy BAKER of St. Paul,
Ark., and Mrs. Amos TRAPP of Modesto, Calif.; 25 grandchildren; 31 great
grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; one sister; and one brother.
WEST
Funeral services for Mrs. Maude WEST will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow (Friday)
in Midwest City. Burial will be in Stilwell Cemetery on Saturday morning.
Among her survivors is a son, Edgar WEST of Rock Springs community.
CORNELIUS
Funeral services for Mathew CORNELIUS were held Sunday, June 7 in the Roberts
Funeral Home, chapel, with burial in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery. CORNELIUS,
who was born August 5, 1881 in Chester, Ark., died Friday, June 5 in Morrow,
Ark.
Survivors include: one son, Raymond of Fresno, Calif.; and one daughter,
Mrs. Gertrude SMITH of Morrow.
ROGERS
Funeral services for Mrs. Bell ROGERS were held Friday, June 5 in the Roberts
Funeral Home chapel, with burial in the Clear Springs Cemetery. Mrs. ROGERS,
who was born August 27, 1875 in Neosho, Missouri, died Wednesday, June 3
in Stilwell.
Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Maudie BEANSTICK and Mrs. Pearl SKITT,
both of Welling; and one son, C.W. of Stilwell.
LANE
Funeral services for Andrew J. LANE were held Monday, June 1 in La Habra,
Calif, with burial in Memory Gardens Memorial Park, Brea, Calif. LANE, who
was a former resident of Adair County, was born September 28, 1880 in Aurora,
Ark., and died Thursday, May 28 in La Habra. He was a member of the Baptist
church and the I.O.O.F. lodge.
He is survived by: four daughters, Mrs. Olive CHOATE and Mrs. Alta CHOATE,
both of La Habra, Mrs. Tressa PORTER of Fayetteville, Ark., and Mrs. Trelia
BRYANT of Rockport, Mo.; six sons, Troy of Wilder, Idaho, Taft also of Rockport,
Cannon also of La Habra, Clifton of Tulsa, Clinton of Oklahoma City, and
Silas of Placentia, Calif.; 36 grandchildren; and 61 great grandchildren.

BEANSTICK
Funeral services for Houston BEANSTICK were held today (Thursday) in the
Roberts Funeral Home chapel, with burial in the Clear Springs Cemetery. BEANSTICK
who was born September 15, 1894 in Stilwell, died Tuesday, August 18 in the
Tahlequah Hastings Hospital.
His survivors include: the wife, Maud, of the home in Welling; and three
daughters, Mrs. Helen ROSSIGNOL of Eufaula, Mrs. Sibyl CAUGHMAN and Mrs.
Alpha FORD, both of Stilwell.
HUGHES
Double funeral services for Mr. and Mrs. D.E. HUGHES of Yucaipa, Calif.,
former residents of Stilwell and Sand Springs, are set for 1:30 p.m. Friday
in the Roberts Funeral Home chapel. Interment will be in Stilwell Cemetery
Hughes, 83, died in a Yucaipa hospital Tuesday, two days after his wife,
Theodoshia, 82, had died at the same hospital. The couple had lived in California
since 1936, moving there from Sand Springs where they had lived 12 years.
He was a native of North Carolina. Mrs. HUGHES was a native of Stilwell.
They are survived by two sons and three daughters, including: Mrs. Bud ANDERSON
of Sand Springs, Mrs. HUGHES is survived by two brothers, Marvin ALBERTY
and Sam ALBERTY, both of Stilwell, and he is survived by two sisters, Mrs.
Dale ADD and Mrs. Laurabelle CATCHER, both of Stilwell.
THURBER
Funeral services for William R. THURBER were held, Saturday, August 15 in
the Roberts Funeral Home chapel, with burial in the Caney Cemetery. THURBER,
who was born November 26, 1887 in Evansville, Ark., died Wednesday, August
12 in the Bennett Nursing Home.
Survivors include: one daughter, Mrs. Beulah BENNETT; and four sons, Elmer,
Frank and William, all of Stilwell, and Melvin of Tulsa.
October 15, 1964
MCLEMORE
Services were held Wednesday, October 14, in Tulsa for Robert William MCLEMORE,
77. He was a former resident of Stilwell. MCLEMORE, a retired Frisco railroad
employee, was found dead in his room in a Tulsa hotel Sunday morning. He
once operated a store here and was employed by the K.C.S. before going to
Tulsa.
Survivors include the widow, Maude of Tulsa; two daughters, Mrs. Ruby SMITH
and Mrs. Hermys SANDERS, both of Tulsa; two brothers, Chester of Stilwell
and John of Racine, Wis.; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth BYERS, Hominy; and four
grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
SKITT
Funeral services for Calvin SKITT were held Sunday, October 11 in the Roberts
Funeral Home chapel, with burial in the Clear Springs Cemetery. SKITT, who
was born December 31, 1900 in Adair county, died Friday, October 9 in a Tahlequah
hospital.
Survivors include; the widow, Mrs. Pearl SKITT of the home near Welling;
and one sister, Mrs. Anawake COCHRAN of Stilwell.
