Announcement was made just at press time that funeral services will be held for Barney LYNN at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 10 am, Saturday burial will be in the Pawhuska Cemetery.

Barney LYNN, 46, native of Pawhuska, died Thursday night at the Osage County Infirmary after an illness of almost two weeks.
LYNN, for the past several years, has been an employee of the orad and bridge division of the county commissioner's department of Osage county.
He was born in Pawhuska February 28, 1899, and lived here most of his life except for a brief time when the fmaily moved to Yukon when he was a child.
He was the son of the late Patrick LYNN and Mrs. Julis LYNN LYLE, Pawhuska. His wife, Mrs. Vida LYNN, died 17 years ago.
He is survivied by his mother and the following children: Mrs. Bob Powell, Sedan, Kansas; Pfc. Elizabeth Doty, WAC Fort Sill; Miss Evelyn Lynn, 1223 Lynn Avenue; and A/S Bernard LeRoy Lynn, US Navy.
There are also two brothers, Dennis LYNN, Ralston, and Sgt. Robert LYNN, US Army, Tonkawa (Okla.) prisoner of war camp; three sisters, Mrs. Gertrude BECKER, Ventura, Cal.; Mrs. Floyd KELSO, Memphis, Tenn., and Mrs. Agnes COFFEY, Long Beach, Calif. and two grand children.
LYNN was a member of the Catholic church, and it was presumed that last rites would be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church here, but definite funeral arrangements had not yet been announced.
LYNN died of spinal meningitis, but state health department investigation proved that the type was not the contagious disease.

Funeral Services for Barney LYNN, employee of the road and bridge division of the County for the past several years, who died at the County Hospital Thursday night were held at the Catholic Church here at 10 o'clock, Saturday AM
Casket Bearers for the services were L. B. MAY, Julius WEISHLOGEL, Charles MILLER, Jim LEI, Jack SAVAGE, and Ben STEP. Burial in Pawhuska City Cemetery.

LYNN
Funeral Mass for Marguerite Palmer LYNN, 75, 1425 Canary Drive, will be held Monday, August 12, at 10 a.m. in The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with interment in the Pawhuska City Cemetery. Rosary will be Sunday, August 11, at 7:30 p.m. in the Johnson Chapel. Mrs. Lynn died August 9, 1985 in the Pawhuska Hsopital, Inc., following an extended illness.
She was born March 10, 1910 in Pawhuska, the daughter of John F. and Martha A. (PLOMODON) PALMER, who were both original Osage allottees. She married Joseph R. LYNN on July 31, 1950 in Pawnee, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on December 27, 1957.
Mrs. LYNN was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She attended the Pawhuska Schools and graduated with the Class of 1926. She had worked on the Election Board in Pawhuska for many years.
Survivors include a daughter, Marilou GORE of Colorado, a son, David Charles BROFMAN of Illinois, a step-son, J. Roger Lynn of Pawhuska, 15 grand-children, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Johnson's Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

LYNN
J. Roger LYNN died Saturday, February 5, 1994, after a brief battle with cancer. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 9, at 2 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Pawhuska with interment in the Pawhuska Cemetery.
He was born July 19, 1927, in Los Angeles, California, the son of Joseph R. and Katherine MOLIDOR LYNN and reared in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. He attended Pawhuska schools, graduating in 1945.
He served 26 months with the Merchant Marines in the Pacific and Far East and was again called into active duty in September of 1950 with the 45th Division, serving in Japan and Korea Unit Citation, National Service Medal, Army Occupation Medal and GCMDL.
Roger attended Oklahoma A & M, Oklahoma University, Fort Lewis in Hesperus, Colorado; Tulsa University, Oklahoma State Industrial Engineering Extension; Roger continued his education in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, Real Estate and completed the U. S. Command and General Staff College in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas and retired from the Uniformed Services as a Major. He was married to Carolyn Jennie CURRY and had five sons, Stephen Allen, John Patrick, William Roger, Michael Kelly and Joseph Roger.
Roger had been employed by Sinclair Oil and Gas Co., in Tulsa and Cities SErvice Oil Co., in Bartlesville and accepted an appointment in the Petroleum Dept. of the Osage Indian Agency in Pawhuska. He was a very successful Independent Oil Finder combining reservoir engineering, geology, economics and a vast knowledge of Osage County.
He was an unallotted member of the Osage Tribe, a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, an Oblate of St. Benedict and an achieved Third Degree Knights of Columbus. Roger instructed engineering and Military Surveying and Field Artillery Mathematcis, had three Geologic Maps, and Engineering and Geologic Data Maps published. He was a member of the Drumright Chapter of API.
Roger raised registered Hereford cattle and hogs. He was a member of the Pawhuska Roundup Club and was an occasional public speaker as Rotary Club President. Two of his favorite things were body surfing and fly fishing.
Surviving are four sons, John Patrick , William Roger, Michael Kelly , and Joseph R. II and four grandchildren.
Roger was preceded in death by both parents and his son, Stephen. He will be sorely missed as a great father, friend and husband.
Powell Funeral Home in Hominy is in charge of arrangements.

LYNN
Patrick John LYNN, born August 1, 1927 in Oklahoma city, Oklahoma, died Friday, May 12, 1995 in Loreto, Southern Baja, California at the age of 67. He loved the ocean and died doing one of his favorite activities, fishing. He was the loving husband of Jennie for 40 years and dedicated father of Jeffrey R. and Patrick, Jr. He is also survived by one brother Jerry; and a sister, Marion (Jeffrey) Hogue; nephews, Brian and Kevin and an aunt, Beatrice Fountain of Mesilla Park, New Mexico as well as many other relatives and friends in California, Colorado, New Mexico and Oklahoma.
Called "P.J." by relatives and friends, Patrick graduated from San Pedro High School with the class of 1945. He was a naval veteran of World War II. He attended Los Angeles Harbor College and Long Beach City College. He worked for Shell Chemical for 19 years and was an electrician for the L.A. County Sanitation District for another 19 years before retiring. He was also a loyal member of the San Pedro Elks Lodge #966 and the Dalmation-American Club of San Pedro.
Viewing was held at Green Hills Memorial Park on May 16 and 17, followed by Cremation.
Friends and relatives are invited to a gathering at 1847 Marinette Street, Torrance, California, on Saturday, May 20 beginning at 11 a.m. to celebrate his life.
Memorials may be sent to the Scholarship Fund of the Dalmation-American Club of San Pedro.
