Preston Cooper, 57, Monticello, FL died Thrusday, July 19, 1979. He was born
in Fort Gibson, OK on September 16, 1921 to William & Lettie Cooper. He is
survived by his wife, Lena; three sons, Tommy, Muskogee OK and Zane and Faron
both of Monticello; a daughter Patricia Woodard, Tallahassee; three sisters,
Agatha Langston, Quincy Gray and Gladys Cantrell all of Oklahoma; nine
grandchildren and a greatgrandchild. Funeral services will be at 2pm Sunday at
the Monticello Church of the Nazarene, with burial in Roseland Cemetery. Beggs-Wilkins
Funeral Home is in charge.

The Flint (Mich.) Journal Flint-Lakeland, Fla.
HALL, Clyde A. 2600 Harden Blvd., Lakeland, Florida, age 80, went home to
be with the Lord, Thursday, December 17, 1987, at the residence. Funeral
services will be held 1 PM Monday at the Flint Baptist Temple, Dr. James
E. Lougheed officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Contributions may
be made to Polk County, Florida Hospice.
Mr. Hall was born in Quapaw, Oklahoma, December 12, 1907. He had been
a resident of Flint since 1926. His first wife, Bernice J. Hall, preceded
him in death in June of 1983. Mr. Hall was a member of Hope United Methodist
Church, was active on the Trustee Church Board and was a member of the Harbor
Lights Sunday School Class. He established Hall Roofing & Siding Home
Improvements in 1950, retiring May 17,1984.
Surviving are wife, Gladys; daughter Virginia Hall; 2 sons, Gerald A., Donald
L. , 7 grandchildren, Michael, Denis, Alison, David, Timothy, Lori and Marci;
great-granddaughter, Cayle Marie; brother, Kenneth; 2 stepsons, James and
Clayton ; 3 step-daughters, Carol, Marilyn, Connie; 15 step grandchildren
and 2 step great-grandchildren. All listed survivors are currently living,
except: daughter Virginia Hall, d. 1990;granddaughter Marci Hall, d. 1995

Lena M Cooper, 75, died at Tallahassee Community Hospital, May 12, 2001.
She was born August 7, 1925 in Braggs, Oklahoma and moved to Jefferson County in
1964. She lived in Jefferson County for 30 years, then moved to Tallahassee. She
attended Newlight Holiness Church.
She is survived by her three children, Rev. Tom & Loretta Cooper of Ft Gibson, OK; Rev. Zane and Linda Cooper of Depew, OK; Faron Cooper of Tallahassee, FL, three sisters, Lucille Cooper of Ft Gibson, OK, Lorena Patterson of El Mirage, AZ, Sadie Ravan of Kallispell, Montana; eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren. Deceased are her husband Preston Cooper (July 19, 1979); and two children, Patricia Cooper Howard and Nelda Gaye Cooper.
The funeral service will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, May 16 at Beggs Apalachee Chapel in Tallahassee. Interment will follow at Roseland Cemetery in Monticello.
The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Tuesday, May 15, at Beggs Apalachee
Chapel in Tallahassee.
Beggs Funeral Home of Tallahassee is handling the arrangements.
