Joplin, MO
Sept. 31, 1925
Dear Lonnie
I will write you a few lines to see how you all are. I am not feeling well
but I am able to be up.
I hope this letter finds you all well and doing well. I would like to see
you all awfully bad and I will come out there
If you will send me the money to come on and there I will pay you back when
I get there.
If you can spare the money send it right away for I would like to pick cotton
before it gets cold weather.
Well I will close as I can't think of much to write so bye bye. Ans soon
as. Ever
Your Mother,
Mrs. L. A. Burnett
